Accessing care through the VA Community Care program is easy when you follow these steps:
1. Request a Referral: Contact your VA Primary Care Provider (PCP) via a clinic visit or a secure message on My HealtheVet. Let them know you’d like to see a chiropractor for your pain.
2. Request Our Clinic: Specifically ask your PCP or the VA Community Care office to send the referral to Chiropractic Specialists in Carver, MN.
3. Wait for Authorization: Because we use the VA’s electronic portals, we typically receive authorizations quickly. You will receive an authorization letter in the mail, but we will often see it in our portal before you do!
4. Schedule Your Exam: Once the authorization is in our system, we will call you to schedule your initial consultation and treatment plan.
